I went to my pal & SU! Demo (excuse me,
Supervisor) extraordinaire Judy's house to get inky on World Card Making Day. Of course, I had a hefty bag of tools and basics and card bases...
but no paper. I had my CTMH How-To books with me and created this card using SU! products. Yes, I know...so much for a CTMH posting. Those How-To books work with ALL products, not just CTMH's. They're great for using up your stash.
Or in this case, Judy's stash.
I did manage to make a couple of cards that night, which is a real feat for me. I have no creativity, I'm a CASEr for sure. Good thing I have those books...
As always, thanks for looking! (
Please leave me your blog address so I can check out your work, too!!)
Well CASE away hon cause you do it well! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet, sweet card! I love the color choice and great idea to showcase the image between the shaped image! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Fun colors and Card Denise!

This is a great idea, love how you have the stamped image in between, is that the larger scallop punch. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I love how you split the scallop!

Nice job! The split scallop was an interesting move. I totally agree with you. I love looking at design books and then making my own spin on them.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the look of the split scallop punch! You did a great job and the color combo is beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the layout. I never thought to cut a shape in half. It really makes the image more prominent.
ReplyDeleteMy first visit to your blog and I love what you create! I'm with you on the lack of original design, but you put your own spin on things and who's to know (if you don't tell....somehow I find I have to!)
ReplyDeleteI shall be back - I've signed up to Follow you - and thanks for visiting my blog :)
My scalloped circle punch is one of my favorites so I am always looking for new ways in which to utilize it!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I believe that CASEing is the road to opening our minds to the possibilities. From my own experience, I still continue to CASE even though I'm more into venturing out on my own now than when I first started this adventure! Until then, where you are, there you are!
